Joining Mission Nutrition was honestly the best decision I ever made. I was super excited to sign up. I saw a couple other people’s before and after pictures and it inspired me. If they could do it, why couldn’t I??

I couldn’t be any more pleased with the results I have gotten, but I couldn’t have done it without my amazing support team. My husband has supported me through my journey the whole time. He has seen my body change and seen me become happier with myself. He says “I have always loved you and I loved you even before you lost all this weight, but I can see how much happier you are now.” He constantly reminds me not to eat that cookie, or ask if I programmed this or that. My family is my biggest motivation. I also couldn’t have done it without my amazing coach Lindsey. She has also stood by me the whole time, giving me tough love when I needed (more than once lol) and being my “person” when I was struggling. Always a text, email or phone call away she’s always there. I thank both of you so much!! This isn’t easy in the beginning, and I’m just being honest. But with time, you get it, you understand it, and you see the results you’ve always wanted while doing it in a way that works with real life. Don’t give up!! I have lost over 30 lbs, I have a family, a 10 month old, and an extremely busy life, and I figured out how to make it work in my life. If you want it bad enough you will make it happen.

I’ve seen amazing results with Mission Nutrition! Not just physically but, mentally as well. I’ve learned a lot about myself, my body and my mindset about nutrition has changed. I have watched my body change in ways I never thought possible in the last 6 months. When I look in the mirror I now see a body I’m proud of, a body I am actually content with. I’ve currently hit my goal that I had set since I started Mission Nutrition which is 160 lbs and being able to lift as much weight as I could before I got pregnant with my son. After hitting this goal, and having such great success with Mission Nutrition I decided to set another goal and work my way to 150 lbs. Which I am currently only 5 lbs away!!

My past experiences with diet and nutrition has been very rocky. When I was younger I stupidly believed that there was a “quick” way to lose weight and get my dream body. I would drink shakes, and even take pills, but nothing worked how I imagined it would. Even being super active throughout my life, it was lacking nutrition and I can see that now. Even when I started CrossFit, my husband and I started the “Paleo” way of eating, and yes it’s amazing, we still try to eat that way but I wasn’t clear enough on portions I needed to reach my goals. Mission Nutrition has taught me what my body needs to maintain the body I want and how to eat and perform well.

I’ve learned so much since starting! I’ve learned to look at the nutrition facts on everything!! I’ve learned a lot about nutrition quality of food and what kinds of foods I need to eat. Somethings I thought were good for me really weren’t. I’ve learned how to manage my eating, if I want a couple drinks at night I know what I have to eat during the day to make it fit. You’re not giving up anything, rather you just make it work with balance. I’ve learned that consistency is KEY!!  Hitting the right number of macros and working out consistently daily will give you the best results.  I’m most thrilled with the knowledge I have taken away from this to be in control of how my body looks for the rest of my life.

I didn’t think I could give up having a beer every day, but I did, and it was the best choice I ever made.  I also didn’t expect to enjoy planning everything that I wanted to eat every day, but now its second nature and I enjoy doing it.

Working out and nutrition definitely go hand in hand. If you want great results you have to do both. I was in good shape from CrossFit, but not losing the weight I wanted to because I was missing an important piece. Nutrition was where I was lacking, I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. Now focusing on working out and nutrition I have seen the results I have always dreamt of.

I’ve had quite a lot of struggles throughout the last 6 months. For me, it was mentally hard in more ways than one. I would have good days and good weeks but also really bad days and bad weeks. I would get down on myself and stressed about my weight. Seeing my weight stay the same or gain a couple pounds back was super hard on myself. I have always struggled mentally with my weight and that’s just something I have learned now to overcome. You are going to have shitty days, but that’s okay. Cause tomorrows a new day and you just get right back at it. My coach was great at giving me tools and motivation to get through the tough times. Since starting Mission Nutrition, I’ve probably have had one or two things going on every month in my life that has tested my will power. I sometimes caved into my cravings, or felt pressured to drink, but the next day I was back on track. I feel like I learned a lot from “slipping up”. I learned how to manage my body and nutrition after “cheating.”

I also struggled with planning meals and cooking for my family in the beginning, but over time I figured it out and I made meals work for the both of us. I’ve over came all of my struggles now, and it has made me a stronger person. Just remember to keep working hard, don’t give up, and tomorrow is a new day, so kill it!

I am an new, better me!! I have way more energy, I’m a lot happier, and way more comfortable in my own skin. Going on this program was the best decision I ever made.
